So today James and I took Riley to the park. She absolutely LOVES to go to the park. However, when we got there she was incredibly fussy. She wouldn't let me put her in the baby swing, she wouldn't let me go down the slide with her, and she wouldn't let me help her up the steps. Well then I put her on the big girl swing all by herself and she absolutely LOVED it she laughed and laughed! So after that she was happy as a clam and i realized the problem was that I was trying to help her. What an indepent little girl she is growing up to be!
Sounds like someone else we know who is very near and dear to our hearts! Vanessa, your story brings back so many precious memories...no telling how many fieldtrips we took to the park as you were growing up. We are so glad you had a special day and are making your own memories to last a lifetime. Enjoy...time flies especially when you're having fun!
